The Principal Treatment Centre (PTC) provides services for all patients with a diagnosis of cancer in the East Midlands between the ages of 13 to 24 and works collaboratively across Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) and University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL).

Patients aged 19 to the end of their 24th year have the choice to be treated locally in one of the 5 designated hospitals across the region or in the age appropriate Teenage Cancer Trust units at Nottingham City hospital or Leicester Royal infirmary.
