Welcome to Hogarth ward Teenage Cancer Trust Unit. The Teenage Cancer Trust Unit at Nottingham City Hospital provides care for young people aged 18 - 24 with cancer. It is one of many Teenage Cancer Trust units around the country which provide specialist care and facilities for young people


Accommodation:

There are 4 single ensuite bedrooms on the unit plus a day care room. The beds are all equipped with television / DVD, bespoke fitted furniture, notice boards, and mood lighting. Games consoles are available on request and there is also dedicated free Wi-Fi connectivity across the unit. There is a facility for one person to stay with you.

Day Care Facility

This area is provided for patients whose treatment is short and who do not need to stay in hospital overnight.  There is space for one visitor to sit with you, however you are free to use the other social spaces on the unit and get involved with any activities on the unit (provided treatment allows).

Social Areas:

Social areas are provided primarily for young people who are patients. Family and friends may use these spaces when accompanying the patient.

The retreat is equipped with soft furnishings, a large plasma 3D screen TV, satellite TV, blu-ray DVD, jukebox, pool table and multiple games consoles.  There is a supply of regularly updated films, games and craft equipment.
